I've got a Sourdough Home with adjustable temperature settings. When the device gets "too cold" it stops tracking data. When I know I'm not going to be baking frequently I turn the temperature down from 20degC to 15 or 10degC to slow fermentation.

Some folks want to extend the amount of data recording after the starter hits its peak. Maybe this is a user configurable setting?

Currently Breadwinner doesn’t show growth data past 36 hours in the X axis. In the example screenshot I’ve been keeping my starter @ 45F for about 4 days. I think for those that have a Sourdough Home / other temperature-adjustable units, you’ll see folks using lower temps to stretch out feedings. I try to keep it low enough to feed every few days (was going for a week this time!) so it’d still be valuable to know how much it’s grown and an approximate peak. Suggestions: Reduce the height sampling reduce after 36 hours? You can still know when it’s ready to feed but it just stores much less data. If it’s not possible to extend the data, it’d be helpful to be more clear about max time range if you plan to track, and to direct them to use “Hibernate” if they need more time. But I think option 1 sounds much better 😬

Feed data in to home assistant. Ideally locally, but cloud-based would be fine too. Could use Home Assistant to let you know when the starter is at peak, needs to be fed, or even control conditions (e.g., adjust temperature). And just nice having everything in one place, so it'd be nice to have the raw data (distance measurements, temperature, anything else?) from the Breadwinner too.

Ability to turn off a device remotely by clicking the "hibernate" button.

Nag users when their batteries get below a certain threshold.

When using the BW to measure growth in an aliquot jar for final dough proofing I would like to know when my starter has hit X percent growth. As an example, i'd like to be able to get a text when the dough has doubled in size.

I noticed when viewing Breadwinner on my MacBook that I can receive notifications when my starter is ripe! However, when I tried on my iPhone, there wasn't any option to receive notifications. I believe Safari on iOS allows requesting notifications, so this would be great until there's any kind of native mobile app.

Display an XY plot of ripeness va temperature with each dot representing a feeding. Allow users to custom tag feedings (eg, they might choose type of flour, feed ratio) and colour the xy plot by tag or filter to include only certain tags so behaviour of starter can be understood under different circumstances

Even a simple web wrapper would be nice. I’m super interested in iOD WIDGETS… would love to have that on my Home Screenp
